A borough in Bucks County is looking to fill a vacant seat in their council, and officials are offering advice to those who are interested.
New Hope Borough is looking to fill a council seat following the recent vacancy left by a now-former member.
“As the result of the resignation of Borough Councilperson, Tina Rettig, New Hope Borough Council is currently accepting letters of interest and/or resumes from Borough Residents who wish to be considered for a temporary appointment to the Council,” the borough said online.
“The successful candidate will serve until December 31, 2023.”
Those who are interested in applying of the position can do so by sending their letters of interest and/or resumes to Borough Manager Peter Gray. Applications will be accepted no later than 4:30 PM on June 30 via email. Gray can be contacted at [email protected].
The Council will consider and appoint a candidate at the Borough Council meeting on July 18.
