A brewery in Bucks County has announced the release of a new drink, and the recipe was devised by an unlikely creator. Franki Rudnesky wrote about the brew for PhillyVoice.

Second Sin Brewing Company, located at 1500 Grundy Lane in Bristol, will soon be releasing The Machine, a beer brewed with a recipe created by ChatGPT. The new beer will be unveiled at a release party on June 22.

“It’s hard to avoid hearing about AI,” said cofounder Mike Beresky.

“I work a normal job as an accountant during the day; I get emails all the time from different companies offering their take on AI and how it could help the company I work for. It’s just all around us now.”

Opened in 2019, the brewery was founded by alum of the Pennsbury School District. Untappd — Drink Socially, a popular app for beer aficionados, ranked the brewery as No. 9 in the whole state of Pennsylvania.
