In celebration of Star Wars Day, along with the release of their new album, an out-of-this-world band will be performing in Bucks County.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, located at 909 Ray Avenue in Croydon, will be hosting Star Wars-themed metal band Galactic Empire on May 6 at 8 PM. The band, which features members of the Bucks County-based group Alustrium, is appearing to support the release of their new album, “Special Addition”, which is being released on May 5.

Along with the show, the brewery is also releasing a new beer. Bantha Fodder, a 7% ABV German-style Spring Bock, is inspired by the mighty Bantha of Tatooine featuring a robust malt flavor profile and caramel sweetness. It’s copper-colored, clean, and refreshing, which is important when you’re fighting off Jawas under twin suns. Bantha Fodder may just bring balance to the Force, much like the delicate addition of some classic German hops.

A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to STEM for Her, a non-profit that creates awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and young women to launch successful STEM-related careers.
