Looking to Dispose of Your Old Electronics? This Bucks County Township Has You Covered

Electronics that can be brought include desktop and laptop computers, keyboards and mice, cell phone and laptop batteries, audiovisual equipment, telephones, and cell phones, to name a few.

An organization in Bucks County is giving local residents the chance to safely dispose of their old electronics and other gadgets.

Building a Better Bensalem Together, an organization operating in Bensalem, will be hosting an “Electronics Recycling Event” in the fall. The event will be held fro Oct. 21 – 29 at 3800 Hulmeville Road.

Electronics that can be brought include desktop and laptop computers, keyboards, cables, cords, cell phones, and more. Items that cannot be brought include household and car batteries, light bulbs, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes.

Founded back in 1998, he organization is a volunteer community coalition, which plans, organizes, and participates in various events, activities and programs in the Bensalem area. It regularly hosts Unity Week, Holiday Pancake Breakfasts, and Red Ribbon Week Internet Safety programs for parents.

“The mission of Building a Better Bensalem Together is to unify the community by building partnerships to enhance community relations and providing programs and resources to address community needs,” the organization said online.
