The Bucks County basketball star has been in the spotlight for some time.

Archbishop Wood Catholic High School senior Jalil Bethea had a monster showing in his first game of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League’s third spring session on the AAU circuit, writes Neil Adler for Fansided.

In 34 minutes of action, the 6-foot-4 combo guard put up 32 points and three rebounds. He scored 10-of-14 from the field and 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, as well as 6-of-8 from the free-throw line.

The Syracuse basketball 2024 four-star priority recruit received All-America honors during his junior year as he helped guide his high school to the semifinals of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association 6A tournament this past March.

The Syracuse coaching staff offered a scholarship to the exceptional player in September 2022. He later made an official visit to the Hill but has yet to make his final decision.

“The staff tells me I am the missing piece,” said Bethea. “They want me bad. I talk to Adrian Autry and Gerry McNamara. They have been there since the beginning and have built a great relationship with me ever since.”
