NOVA Bucks, located at 2370 York Road, Ste B1 in Jamison, is celebrating the hard work of their volunteers through Volunteer Appreciation Week.

“Today is all about NOVA’s Committee Volunteers!” the organization said online. “With nearly a dozen different committees operating at once, NOVA is grateful to have so many capable and creative volunteers lending their time, energy, and expertise.”

Found in 1974 as Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR), the organization has worked with victims of rape and violence in the Bucks County area for almost five decades.

“They tackle everything from Governance and Finance to Public Affairs and Community Liaison work. Thank you for keeping NOVA connected and energized! We appreciate all that you do!”
