With warmer weather now upon us, golf season is about to be in full swing.

Navigating the varied terrains of a golf course, choosing the right club to hit that perfect shot, and building comradery are some of the great attractions of the game.

Members of the public will have an opportunity to partake in all three, on Monday, June 12, when Center School in Abington once again hosts its annual golf tournament at North Hills Country Club in Glenside.

For several years, this has been a sold-out event, and it has become Center School’s largest fundraiser. Many local businesses and golfers support this event by purchasing one of the various sponsorship or golfer packages available. The day begins with lunch and ends with dinner in the clubhouse provided by North Hills Country Club.

“The outing was incredible and very well organized,” said an attendee of last year’s tournament. “This was a great event to network, play golf, and support Center School. We will be back next year!”

Registration and additional information can be found on Center School’s website. All proceeds benefit Center School programs that support students who learn differently.
