An organization run by a school district in Bucks County recently recognized several local businesses and their owners.

The Pennsbury Partners Program, operated by Pennsbury School District, held its 22nd Annual Partnership Recognition Reception at William Penn Middle School in Yardley on April 19. Honoring business people working in the area, the organization acknowledged two individuals and their businesses at the event.

Those acknowledged include:

  • Business Partner of the Year: Dr. Michelle El Khoury, Founder and Owner of YOGAMAZIA
  • Non-Profit Partner of the Year: Michael Ginder, Executive Director of the Friends of the Delaware Canal

“The mission of the Pennsbury Partners Program is to establish and sustain collaboration and partnerships between the Pennsbury School District and the community-at-large to enhance student learning and to extend and enrich educational opportunities throughout the District,” the school district said online.

The event was sponsored by the ShopRite of Yardley and KidsCare of Pennsbury.
