The host discussed life, fame, and parenting with the Doylestown native.

One of the most famous singers from Bucks County recently visited a popular talk show to catch up with an old entertainment industry friend. Staff writers from CBS Philadelphia wrote about the recent appearance.

Doylestown native Pink recently showcased her love for the City of Brotherly Love on television earlier this week.

The singer appeared on Monday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show” and she made sure that her surroundings represented her style. Unlike the usual image of New York City, the background of the set was changed to Philadelphia, including a portion of the Schuylkill River Trail.

During the show, Pink also remembers the first time she met the host.

“I was sitting on Melrose Avenue on the concrete outside of a hair salon waiting for the bleach to kick in, Drew walks by and I go, ‘oh, no. Drew, um, I love you,'” said the singer.

“You don’t know, but maybe one day you might. And I did a book report on Little Girl Lost in 7th grade and you made me feel less alone knowing that you’re in the world walking at the same time as me.’ And I was just like ‘wow, I love L.A.‘”
