A Bucks County high school is preparing to show a musical performance of one of the most popular Disney films of the past few decades.

Bensalem High School, located at 4319 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem, will be putting on a performance of the Disney classic, “Beauty and the Beast” in the school auditorium from Feb. 23 – 25.

Performances will take place at 7 PM each day, with tickets costing $10 a person. The matinee will be held on the 25th at 1 PM, with tickets costing $5.

The original movie came out in 1991 and is considered to be a major film in the “Disney Renaissance”, a period of blockbuster hits that are now considered classics.

Known for putting on great performances, the high school performers will be acting in a rendition of one of the most popular stories ever produced by the renounced movie makers.
