The hotel will undergo a massive renovation instead of selling.

A well-known hotel in Bucks County has recently gone up for sale, and the price being asked to start is a big one for a big property. Emma Dooling wrote about the hotel for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Radisson Philadelphia Northeast, located at 2400 Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose, will be up for online bidding from March 20-22. The starting bid is currently $4.65 million.

The property has stood on the edge of Philadelphia for almost 50 years, with 275 rooms for those traveling in and out of Bucks County. It owned by TJM Properties Inc., a real estate investment firm based in Florida, which purchased the property in 2015 for $10.5 million.

On the listing of the property online, sellers say that it is being “offered unencumbered of brand, debt, and management at a significant discount to replacement cost.”
