A government office in Bucks County is helping eligible residents start the year off on a clean slate through their handling of important files.

The Bucks County Public Defender’s Office, located at 100 North Main Street in Doylestown, is hosting a record cleaning clinic on Dec. 10 from 10 AM – 1 PM. The event will be held at the Upper Bucks Campus of the Bucks County Community College, located at 1 Hillendale Road in Perkasie.

“If you have charges that were dismissed or an older conviction, you may be eligible to clean your record through an expungement, record sealing, or a pardon,” the office said online.

All those who are eligible can bring their financial documentation to show if they qualify for public defender representation.

The offices host these clinics more than once a year. Their last one was held in late April in the Bucks County Justice Center.
