A Bucks County nonprofit recently collaborated with a major casino to finish the building of affordable housing in the local area.

Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, located at 539 Jacksonville Road in Warminster, recently teamed up with staff members of Bensalem’s Parx Casino in order to work on the housing that the nonprofit is known for providing to local families in need.

The casino is known for its local outreach to the Bucks County community, and their latest collaboration with Habitat for Humanity is just one of many generous acts the popular casino has done for local people and businesses.

“Thank you, Parx Casino for all your hard work!” the nonprofit wrote on their social media. “We appreciate you taking the time to come out and build with us!”

Since 1990, the local Habitat for Humanity location has worked to make affordable housing available to Bucks County residents who are either dealing with financial insecurity or a recent tragedy like losing their home in a disaster.
