A Bucks County delicatessen and restaurant recently continued operations to create a signature dish for a major Jewish holiday.

Matzah Balls, a recent addition to the Doylestown dining scene, has seemingly come back from their recent shuttering to serve up their namesake dish for the recent holiday of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Chefs from the Jewish eatery made over 350 matzah ball soup dishes to celebrate the holiday. The dish was served to observing residents of Horsham at Fountainside Seafood & Grille, one of the owner’s other establishments, in yet another comeback operation for the new restaurant.

“It was a real pleasure meeting all of the many people we have spoken to on Facebook the past couple of months,” the establishment said on their Facebook page. “Our special Matzah Balls dinner at Fountainside was a great success.”

The menu of Matzah Balls will also include gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. A native Italian, Federico will also offer cuisine influenced by his home country’s famous cooking, with several “Italian Specialities” being offered at the new establishment.
