Bucks County’s first Whole Foods Market now has an official opening date, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The long-anticipated Doylestown location of the supermarket chain will open its doors on March 13 at 8 a.m. The store will occupy part of the former Marshalls and HomeGoods space in the Barn Plaza shopping center off Easton Road.
The product assortment at the new store will include over 500 items from the Mid-Atlantic region, found with the help of Daniela D’Ambrosio, a forager for local and emerging brands at Whole Foods Market.
The shop will feature a full-service seafood counter, a diverse selection of produce, specialty cheese and artisan goods department, and a curated grocery section.
There will also be a full-service meat counter, wine and craft beer section, prepared foods department, bakery, and a Whole Body section offering wellness, beauty, and lifestyle products.
On opening day, Whole Foods will treat patrons to complimentary coffee from Backyard Beans and bites from Aaji’s. The first 300 customers will receive a custom tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon, offering special discounts of up to $100.
