Telford Night Market, described as “a curated seasonal family-friendly open-air night market,” opened for the season on June 1 and will run through August 31, writes Bob Keeler for The Reporter Online.

The market, which started two decades ago as the Saturday morning Indian Valley Farmer’s Market, is held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday nights. It offers locally grown and produced foods along with entertainment and a place where people can gather.

“It’s 20 years, including the farmer’s market, of having an event in this location for the summer,” said Nicole Spiese, a Telford Happenings board member. “This is the fourth year of the night market.”

On the opening night, more than 30 vendors offered their products, including some who were new to the market.

The list of vendors, food trucks, and musicians that are going to be present at the market on a given date will be made available on the Telford Night Market Facebook page each week.

And in case there is rain on a Wednesday night, the market will be postponed to the next day.
