Junk? Gem? Find Out at a Local Filming of PBS’ ‘Antiques Roadshow’ Season 26
Scour the attic! Dig through your basement storage bins! PBS’ Antiques Roadshow is shooting an episode this fall in nearby Hamilton, NJ.
But don’t let any dust accumulate on your desire to participate. “Audition” entries must be submitted online to Antiques Roadshow by June 7.
Grounds for Sculpture is the location for the PBS reality-series shoot. Continued safety precautions will nix the usual milling crowds during appraisals. Producers are, however, allowing invited appraisal guests onto the closed set for the October 6 taping.
Owners of valuable antiques — confirmed or only hoped-for — can nominate two items or collections, each requiring its own online entry form. A total of 130 entries will be selected for appraisal.
Entries comprise:
- A short description of your item
- The story or background about your item
- Two or three digital photos of your item to upload
Producers will notify those who made the cut four weeks before the filming.
See PBS for further details. And good luck!
