Parx Casino in Bensalem has won the Best Casino in Pennsylvania title at the 2026 International Casino Awards, beating out every other gaming destination in the state in a competition decided entirely by the players who visit them.
The awards, presented by Casinos.com, span more than 100 categories recognizing excellence in casino entertainment worldwide, from Best Casino in the World down to dining, entertainment, amenities, and customer experience.
What sets them apart from most industry honors is simple: no expert panels, no industry insiders. Just votes from the public.
Parx secured 35.9 percent of the vote to claim the Pennsylvania title. Wind Creek Bethlehem finished second. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh rounded out the top three.
For a property that started as a horse racing venue, the recognition says something about how far Parx has come.
The Bensalem complex has grown into one of the region’s premier entertainment destinations, offering gaming, sports betting, dining, live entertainment, and hotel accommodations on a sprawling campus just outside Philadelphia.
“The beauty of the International Casino Awards is the recognition it offers to casinos locally,” said Lee Gwilliam, founder of Casinos.com.
“While there are national and global categories, it’s important to give resorts that serve their local communities and economies their flowers too.”
The award carries weight precisely because it comes from players rather than professionals.
Thousands of casino visitors cast votes for the properties they believe deliver the best overall experience, making the outcome a direct reflection of customer satisfaction rather than industry politics.
The winners were announced in conjunction with International Casinos Day, celebrated each year on May 15. Established in 2025, the occasion recognizes the role casinos play as entertainment destinations and economic engines in communities around the world.
“Casinos are entertainment hubs, cultural icons, and community landmarks,” said Dan Michalski, Executive Editor at Casinos.com.
“International Casinos Day has quickly grown into something the industry is starting to rally behind.”
For Bucks County residents, the takeaway is straightforward. The casino down the road just beat every other gaming venue in Pennsylvania, and the judges were the people sitting at the tables.
