Quakertown’s Sabrina Carpenter Brings Out ‘Queen of Pop’ at Coachella 

Quakertown native Sabrina Carpenter welcomed an unexpected pop icon to the stage during her weekend 2 Coachella set, surprising attendants.

During weekend 2 of Coachella, Quakertown native Sabrina Carpenter welcomed Madonna, the ‘Queen of Pop’ herself, onto the stage for an unforgettable performance, writes Alyssa Bailey and Aimée Lutkin for ELLE

The duo wowed attendees with duets of Madonna’s hits, “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer,” along with a new song suspected to be from Madonna’s upcoming Confessions on the Dance Floor: Part II album. 

Carpenter and Madonna both turned to Instagram to share their gratitude for the performance. 

Madonna .…I’ve got something i wanna talk about! thank you for coming out, bringing your love, and gracing the audience with everything you are + astrology knowledge + the greatest songs of all time,” wrote Carpenter. “Last night was straight out of a dream. spending so much time laughing with you and then above all sharing the stage with you is a privilege I’ll never forget. X.” 

Madonna responded with her own post, thanking Carpenter and everyone who made the show possible, saying it was “A moment in history, I will never forget!” 

In her weekend 1 set, Carpenter had several special guests, including Samuel L. Jackson, Susan Sarandon, Will Ferrell, and Corey Fogelmanis. Geena Davis and Terry Crews also made surprise appearances during weekend 2.
