Quakertown-born Sabrina Carpenter teamed up with actress Margaret Qualley for her new “House Tour” music video featuring a sultry heist, writes Taijuan Moorman for USA Today.
The pair, who co-directed the Man’s Best Friend album music video, are joined by actress Madelyn Cline as they rob a mid-century mansion.
The trio raids everything from the refrigerator to the lingerie drawer, engages in some sword fighting, and tries on every piece of clothing and jewelry they can. A live tarantula and puppy join the mix as the robbery ensues.
Qualley reads Carpenter a story in the bath before the three eventually begin dancing and posing for the surveillance cameras in a walk-in closet.
Just before the cops arrive on the scene and head inside to bust the trio, they steal a Grammy trophy and one of the homeowner’s cars, and then peel out in their pink van.
As Qualley and Carpenter drive away, a man crossing the street gets hit by their van, continuing the pop singer’s tradition of killing a man in each of her music videos.
Carpenter will be headlining the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 10 and April 17, and tour dates supporting her latest album are anticipated to be announced this year.
