Revivals Thrift is a new secondhand store opened by a local church, which recently celebrated its grand opening in Perkasie at the former Freed Glass building, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The new thrift spot will help support the community, with 100 percent of its proceeds given to the Revivals Outreach Center to assist with its programming.
The center offers free services for those in need, including health and wellness programs, life coaching, after-school education support, therapy, social work, community events, and food insecurity programs.
Customers will be able to peruse the store’s selection of home decor, antiques, bikes, housewares, furniture, books, clothing, jewelry, and more.
“We believe Revivals Thrift is more than a store,” said Renew Bible Ministries Executive Director Jason Black in a press release. Renew is Revivals’ parent company.
“It’s a way we live out our mission, to bring revival to our community through the hope of the Gospel, by loving and serving our neighbors and creating opportunities for others to do the same. Last year, Revivals provided more than $3 million in free services through over 20 programs,” he continued.
