Bucks County’s housing market continued to heat up in March, with no signs of slowing as spring progresses, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
According to Bucks County Association of Realtors President Christy Manetta, the market is “vibrant,” experiencing an increase in home sales from last year.
In March, a total of 424 homes were sold, according to data from the association, marking a 14.6 percent increase from March 2025. Median sale prices jumped up 9.2 percent from last year’s $467,000 to an average price of $510,000.
Manetta noted that buyers range from younger first-time homebuyers to older residents hoping to downsize.
Inventory remains low in high-demand areas, like New Hope and Doylestown, while more properties are becoming available in Upper Bucks towns like Perkasie and Quakertown.
Chalfont, Dublin, Hilltown, Perkasie, Plumstead, Richland, and Springfield were among the areas that saw the most growth between 2020 and 2024.
“We are still seeing motivated buyers in the market, and while inventory has improved somewhat, desirable homes are continuing to attract strong interest,” Manetta said. “This is a market where both buyers and sellers benefit from having a realtor who understands local conditions and can help them navigate each step with confidence.”
