The next time you take a trip to Doylestown, be sure to visit some of the attractions the town has to offer, from eateries to historic sites.

Doylestown is one of Bucks County’s gems with countless attractions and shopping destinations, and there are several spots worth paying a visit on your next trip, writes Lisa O for Worthly.  

The town is brimming with historical sites and landmarks that you can’t miss, starting with the Bucks County Civil War Library & Museum. Visitors can see battlefield relics and historic artifacts that provide glimpses of the lives of Civil War soldiers from the county. 

The County Theater is a great spot for film enthusiasts, showing everything from major blockbusters and hit classics to foreign movies and documentaries.  

Sitting next door to each other on the same property, Fonthill Castle and the Mercer Museum are can’t-miss spots constructed by Henry Chapman Mercer. Guests can see impressive handcrafted tiles and relics of pre-Industrial America. 

For family fun, head to Hellerick’s Family Farm for pick-your-own produce, seasonal activities, and their Aerial Adventure Park.
