The Bucks County Ale Trail is the perfect activity for a weekend with friends, with a range of taprooms and breweries around the county.

If you’re looking for a fun weekend activity, take a journey along the Bucks County Ale Trail and visit some of the best breweries and taprooms around the county, writes Kaitlin Nasevich for Visit Bucks County

Head to Riegelsville for Wishful Thinking Brewery, a welcoming spot that gets its ingredients from local farms. Their beers, many of which are pale ales, land in the lower ABV range and come with a creamy foam cap.

Mystic Ways Brewing, located in Perkasie, is another great brewery featuring a magical atmosphere reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. Their signature “Mystic Hop Mates” features beer poured over hops and served with a straw.

New Hope’s Doubles by Human Robot is a taproom and card shop in one, giving visitors a chance to grab some sports cards while enjoying a craft beer and gorgeous views of the Delaware Canal.

Warwick Farm Brewing is a tasty microbrewery overlooking 22 acres of farmland. Enjoy one of their lagers, IPAs, ales, and ciders while grabbing a bite from an on-site food truck.

Check out Vault Brewing in Yardley for a speakeasy atmosphere and everything from dark lagers to pale ales. Their menu features a range of food options, including pizzas and handhelds, that pair well with their seasonal Gold Option Irish Potato Stout.
