A New Jersey fried chicken restaurant, Iffys Hot Chicken, is bringing its signature dishes to Bucks County, expanding with a new location in Bristol, writes JD Mullane for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Iffys will be opening later this year at 2701 Durham Road at the site of the former KFC. A grand opening date has yet to be announced.
The restaurant was launched in 2023 in Burlington by New Jersey native Iffy Shah.
In an interview last year with nj.com, Shah noted that Iffys has already expanded to four New Jersey locations, with stores in Clementon and Edison. A Brooklyn location opened in 2024.
“We have another 25 to 30 other franchisees that are on board,” he commented.
According to its website, Iffys’ signature dish is its Nashville-style chicken tenders, along with its less spicy wings and sliders, mac and cheese, and loaded fries.
In that same interview, Shah said apps like DoorDash helped his Burlington store gain business.
With the news about the restaurant opening a new location, many locals took to social media to share positive reactions.
“Iffys is phenomenal!” one commenter said on Facebook. “The best chicken you’ll ever have! I go to the one in Burlington all the time and it’s great!”
