Emmy-winning actress Hannah Einbinder is a dedicated Eagles fan, a topic she recently discussed in an interview with Rolling Stone, writes Earl Hopkins for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Einbinder has been promoting her latest film, Seekers of Infinite Love, a comedy about three estranged siblings on a mission to save their youngest sister when she joins a doomsday cult.
The Hacks star was asked if she has the type of personality that would leave her susceptible to being persuaded to join a cult.
Einbinder admitted that she does, as she likes the idea of being part of a team. She referenced her years as a cheerleader in high school as well as her passion for the Philadelphia football team.
While the actress has never lived in the Philadelphia region, her father, actor and writer Chad Einbinder, was born in Doylestown.
“My dad’s from Philly, and he brainwashed me,” Einbinder said in 2024 on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “He brainwashed me very young, so we’re Eagles fans.”
“When I think about my identity, I think the order is Eagles fan, queer, Jewish, left-handed, redhead. I think it’s above all of those other things,” said Einbinder.
