Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Style at One of These Bucks County Events

This St. Patrick’s Day, celebrate with friends and family at one of the many festivals and events taking place around Bucks County.

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and luckily, there are plenty of events and activities taking place in Bucks County to celebrate. Whether you’re looking for a spot to get a drink with friends or something more family-friendly, grab some festive green gear and check out these events. 

Upper Bucks Celtic Festival – Perkasie 

On March 14, from noon to 5 PM, head to downtown Perkasie for an unforgettable celebration. Enjoy Irish dancing, kilt and costume contests for kids, and a soda bread competition. A variety of vendors will be on site with delicious food and tasty beverages. 

Don’t miss out on performances from My Other Neighbor and First Highland Watch starting at 2 PM.  

St. Paddy unWINEd Weekend – Shady Brook Farm 

From March 13 to March 15, the Yardley farm is hosting a special St. Patrick’s Day event. Enjoy live Irish music, themed drinks and food, dancers on Friday and Saturday at 7 PM, and activities like a balloon artist.

Friday’s celebration will take place from 6 PM to 10 PM, with performances from Shades of Green. Saturday’s event is taking place from noon to 5 PM, and 6 PM to 10 PM, with music from Righteous Jolly and Celtic Pride.

Celtic Pride will be making another appearance at Sunday’s event, taking place from 1 PM to 6 PM. Information about tickets is available online.

Matthew Dodd: Songs and Stories of St. Patrick’s Day – Mercer Museum 

The Friends of Bucks County Historical Society is hosting a special program on March 16 in Doylestown from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the Elkins Gallery.

Along with celebrating Irish heritage, the event also pays homage to Henry Chapman Mercer’s profound love for Irish culture and music. 

Hear beautiful traditional music, storytelling, and legends that have shaped Ireland’s history. Learn more about how to register for the program online.  

Peddler’s Village – Lahaska  

This St. Patrick’s Day, eight Peddler’s Village spots are finding ways to celebrate with special activities and offerings. Hart’s Tavern has its full bar open, along with live music from noon to 2 PM from The Birdhouse Center for the Arts.

Check out Irish dancers at the gazebo, and live music at Earl’s New American, Red Fox Lounge, Peddler’s Pub, and Buttonwood Grill.

Be sure to stop by Free Will Brewing, Hewn Spirits, and Nissley Vineyards for beverages. Drinks and food are pay-as-you-go, with no tickets required. More information about live music is available online.  

Sesame Place St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Langhorne  

For families trying to find a way to celebrate with their little ones, head to Sesame Place on March 14 and March 15 for a special event. 

Kids can enjoy a themed scavenger hunt and take special photos with their favorite characters dressed up for the holiday. The Rince Ri Irish School of Dance will also be performing at Elmo’s Studio Theater. 

Families can also make reservations for the St. Patrick’s Day Dine for brunch or lunch, with appearances from Elmo, Abby, and Cookie Monster. Tickets and reservation information are available online
