Conshohocken’s Boomi announced a major upgrade to its platform, aimed at organizing data to streamline artificial intelligence for businesses, according to ERP Today.
Boomi is known for helping companies connect the many software systems they rely on, from financial platforms to customer databases, so information can move smoothly between them.
With the latest update, the company is taking that concept further by focusing on what it calls data activation. The move will make corporate data easier for AI systems to understand and use.
At the center of the upgrade is a new feature called Meta Hub, which acts as a central location where businesses can unify their data from across multiple systems. Meta Hub will ensure AI tools work with accurate, consistent data from a centralized source rather than scattered data across different platforms.
The upgrade also introduces Agent Control Tower, which allows organizations to monitor how AI-powered systems are performing. The tool tracks activity such as system errors, response times and workflow performance. Agent Control Tower will give companies greater visibility into how their AI tools are operating.
Boomi CEO Steve Lucas said the goal is to help businesses move beyond experimenting with AI and begin using it in practical, day-to-day operations.
