New Hope is a town bursting with culture, but just across the river, Lambertville and Stockton offer their own array of fun spots to explore, writes Adam Erace for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Lambertville’s Golden Nugget Antique Flea Market is one of the largest antique markets in the region, with everything from baseball cards to Tiffany-glass lamps. For over fifty years, this spot has been a local favorite.
For stunning views of the Delaware River, check out Goat Hill Overlook right between downtown Lambertville and the Golden Nugget. Enjoy an easy hike on a paved path to see a picturesque scene of the bridge spanning the water.
There are countless shops and boutiques to explore on Bridge Street and in the surrounding area. Visit Zinc for home and garden needs, Panoply for books and vinyl records, and Flamingo Estate for candles and more.
Take a short drive north and spend the night at The Stockton Inn, built in 1710. This cozy spot features a contemporary feel with a blend of natural fabrics and earthy tones.
Lambertville is also home to Music Mountain Theatre, with high-quality, entertaining performances available to enjoy year-round.
