Here are four local spots where you can enjoy a delicious meal alongside a roaring fire to warm up during the cold winter months.
The Whip Tavern—Coatesville. Cozy up with traditional English pub food and a toasty fire at Coatesville’s Whip Tavern. Menu items include bangers and mash, Scotch eggs, and Welsh rarebit, followed by sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The local spot also offers brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays.
Kimberton Inn—Phoenixville. Housed in a historic 1796 inn, this local spot offers delicious cuisine, fireside dining, and live music on Saturdays and Sundays. Menu items include lamb chops, lobster bisque, and cashew crusted chicken, in addition to a variety of vegan and gluten free options.
Four Dogs Tavern—West Chester. Four Dogs Tavern boasts indoor and outdoor fireside dining thanks to the restaurant’s covered patio. Winter menu items include mushroom soup in addition to classic sandwiches, flatbreads, and pasta.
Autograph Brasserie—Wayne. A local favorite, Autograph Brasserie boasts an extensive menu of American fusion cuisine. Dinner menu items include seared branzino, steak frites, and beef bourguignon, in addition to a range of craft cocktails. Visitors can call ahead to reserve a fireside spot.
