Three Bucks County restaurants and inns were included in a list of some of the best haunted spots to enjoy dinner from, writes Miles Hinton for Ever After in the Woods.
New Hope’s Logan Inn, built in 1727, is the oldest operating inn in the state, offering delicious American dishes. The pumpkin ravioli is a particular fan favorite.
Guests have claimed to see a woman in a colonial dress in the window and hear footsteps in the halls late at night. Bottles have been known to rearrange themselves at the bar.
The Black Bass Hotel in Lumberville is another supposedly haunted spot on the Delaware River. This British-inspired inn, built in 1745, offers tasty options like fish and chips and crab cakes.
Visitors have reported spotting an apparition of a Victorian woman watching the water. The lobby’s clock also chimes at random times, and bottles have been seen flying off the shelves.
New Hope’s Wedgwood Inn is the site of similar paranormal activity. Since the 1870s, the mansion has been welcoming visitors. Their breakfast is their most popular attraction, with warm baked goods and fresh eggs.
Those who’ve spent the night have claimed to see a ghost at the foot of their bed. Doors have been known to lock and unlock at random, and the smell of roses permeates the rooms, even with no flowers in sight.
