A Wonder food hall has opened at the Promenade at Granite Run in Media Borough.

A Wonder food hall opened Thursday in Media Borough in the Promenade at Granite Run, writes Torin Sweeney for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Media Wonder at 1127 W. Baltimore Pike officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration.

Senior operations leader Eddie Jefferson, who oversees the Media location, emphasized the importance of local ties.

“I want to make sure we’re a staple of the community,” he said. “I do want to be here for a very long time.”

Wonder focuses on delivery and takeout.  It features menus from celebrity chefs and established restaurant brands. It markets itself as a one-stop option for households with varied tastes.

Wonder plans to double its food halls by the end of 2026, with regional locations set for Drexel Hill in January 2026, Roxborough, Allentown, and the Lehigh Valley.

The company expects to cover nearly the entire Philadelphia metro area as demand grows.

With the Media opening, Wonder now has 91 locations across the Northeast, from Rhode Island to Virginia.

Growth will accelerate next year, with more than 110 additional sites planned, pushing the total past 200 restaurants nationwide by the end of 2026.
