From now until Dec. 12, donations to the Kin Kind Match campaign for the Kin Wellness and Support Center will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 by an anonymous donor, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
The center provides thousands of hours of free services to local oncology healthcare workers, caregivers and cancer patients in Bucks County.
“We are helping between 80 to 100 people per week by offering as many as 30 different services, classes and workshops weekly,” said Keith Fenimore, Kin’s co-founder and executive director. “This donation match was an unexpected gift that will allow us to end our fundraising season strong so we can continue to make an impact on those who rely on us.”
“I love that this is obtainable to all, as we will graciously accept a donation of any denomination. I am eager to see if we can turn this $20,000 gift into $40,000 for Kin!” he continued.
Some of the free programs at the center include one-on-one counseling, workshops, nutrition, massage, acupuncture, fitness, reflexology and more.
Donations can be made online at Kin Wellness and Support’s website. Checks can be also mailed to 2325 Heritage Center Dr., Building 113, in Furlong.
