The Thompson Organization, with locations in Doylestown and Willow Grove, recently launched its Helping Hands for the Holidays campaign, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
The initiative was created to assist local families and organizations during the holiday season.
Until Dec. 31, Thompson’s dealerships are partnering with nonprofits, collecting essential items like non-perishable foods, hygiene items and household supplies.
Thompson Toyota has partnered with the Bucks County Housing Group’s Doylestown Food Pantry.
Willow Grove’s Thompson Lexus is partnering with the Willow Grove Food Pantry.
Thompson BMW is working with Lansdale’s Manna on Main Street, Perkasie’s Pennridge FISH and the Warminster Food Bank.
The Thompson Lexus in Doylestown is partnered with Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue. They will be accepting cat and dog food, clumping cat litter, parrot and small animal food, pet shampoo, pee pads, and new Kong toys. New collars, leashes and harnesses will also be collected.
Items can be donated in each dealership’s showroom and service center.
“Helping Hands for the Holidays has become one of our most meaningful annual traditions,” said Laura Thompson Barnes, the Thompson Organization’s vice president. “It’s a wonderful way for our team members and customers to come together and make a real difference for our neighbors and local shelters.”
