Discount retailer Dollar Tree is set to move into the former Rite Aid location in Levittown, which has been sitting empty since the pharmacy chain’s widespread closures earlier this summer, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Green Dollar Tree signage has already been placed over the windows of the 6912 New Falls Road location, with workers spotted on site on Monday, Nov. 18, conducting electrical work.
The property, which is valued at approximately $3.1 million, is owned by Randy Cusuman, but Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is listed as the mailing address for the site.
Dollar Tree has another location less than two miles away from the store that is now in operation at 4595 New Falls Road, but it is not yet known if that location will remain open once the new store is fully up and running.
Rite Aid began closing its area locations earlier this year after its second bankruptcy filing in May. All of the stores in Bucks County were officially shut down by the end of the summer.
