Fairless Hills finally saw the official opening of the Grocery Outlet on June 26, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 AM marked the first day of the new store located on Lincoln Highway.
The discount grocery store offers a variety of name-brand and quality products, with locations nationwide.
“If you’ve never been to a Grocery Outlet before, we are looking forward to getting to know you and providing you and your family with new options for high-quality, affordable produce, meat and groceries,” said Grocery Outlet CMO Layla Kasha.
The 14,000-square-foot store is situated by the recently reopened Big Lots. The store will be open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.
Throughout the week, staff will give customers a free reusable bag with their first purchase. They can also participate in a raffle through July 26 for the chance to win $1,000 in free groceries.
The owner of the store, Andy Hinds, used the opening to give back to the community. Hinds provided a $1,000 donation to the Family Service Association of Bucks County, a local nonprofit organization.
