Holicong’s Silverman Gallery of Bucks County Impressionist Art is hosting a new exhibition featuring art inspired by Bucks County flora, titled “Bucks County in Bloom,” until Oct. 26, writes staff for Town Topics.
Artists featured in the exhibit include Trisha Vergis, Evan Harrington, Anita Shrager, Desmond McRory, Jennifer Hansen Rolli, Joseph Barrett, Glenn Harrington, Rhonda Garland, Jean Childs Buzgo, Jim Rodgers, David Stier and Jonathan Mandell.
Barrett will be displaying several new works, including “Late Bouquet” and “Sunflowers.” Rolli, best known for her still life pieces and landscapes featuring hydrangeas, poppies and peonies, will have her work featured as well.
Harrington will be highlighting his latest piece, “Asters,” with warm fall hues, along with his painting “Sunflower.”
Vergis’ art takes inspiration from bouquets made with flowers from local farmstands, while Buzgo focuses on painting gardens and potted plants.
Stier will be showcasing work that displays his talent for capturing light and shadow. Rodgers has become known for his paintings of his wife’s garden, and Shrager’s ability to portray flowers is well-known.
The exhibit will also include floral studies from McRory, mosaic art from Mandell and modern linear art from Garland.
Silverman Gallery is located at 4920 York Road in the Buckingham Green Shopping Center.
