El Barrio Cantina & Tequila Bar at Village Shires Shopping Center in Holland will close its doors for good on Oct. 28, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The establishment’s owners announced the closing on their social media pages earlier this week.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to make this announcement,” said the owners. “El Barrio will be closing its doors as the final day of operation will be Tuesday, Oct. 28. We know this news is going to be difficult for a lot of people as El Barrio is a second home to many of you. This is so very difficult for us as well, but we know we have the support to make it through.”
For six years, the popular eatery has delighted customers with authentic Mexican dishes and drinks, building a loyal fan base along the way.
Although the restaurant is closing, fans can still look forward to enjoying their favorite specialties through a new El Barrio food truck launching by the end of next month, and also delivery options via Uber Eats, Grubhub and DoorDash.
