Expanded Home in Bristol Township Draws Strong Interest Despite High Price

A home on Kenwood Drive South in Levittown has been drawing interest from buyers despite the asking price of $749,900.

An expanded home on Kenwood Drive South in Levittown has been drawing strong interest from buyers despite the steep asking price of $749,900, in an area once considered among the most affordable starter home communities in Bucks County, writes JD Mullane for the Bucks County Courier Times.

“It has two entrances and six bedrooms,” said Veysal Badalov, the listing realtor. “Since I listed it we’ve had high interest and multiple showings. It’s a very unique house in Levittown.”

Part of the home’s appeal is that it is not entirely Levitt-built, as the seller expanded the original 1955 house to make a spacious family home.

Featuring six generously-sized bedrooms and four full bathrooms, the house also includes a gourmet kitchen with a striking waterfall granite island and other high-end amenities.

This is not the only home commanding a high price in a formerly affordable area, as house flippers have been pushing market prices higher over the last four to five years.

“Levittown is growing,” said Badalov. “You have a 1,500-square-foot Levittown house and, after the flip, it goes for $400,000, $500,000, $600,000.”
