New Hope’s Roxey Ballet is partnering with Doylestown’s VAMPA Museum for a special Dracula-inspired event this October, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
Visitors will have the chance to walk through Dracula’s Lair, a haunted house at the Mill Ballet School filled with frights reminiscent of the legendary vampire. Enjoy spooky dances, frightening vignettes and scary encounters.
“Perfect for thrill-seekers, Dracula’s Lair is not your typical haunted house,” said the Roxey Ballet. “Guests will step into an immersive experience where gothic storytelling and hauntingly beautiful choreography intertwine, creating a night of unforgettable fright and artistry.”
Guests can enjoy concessions and take part in fun photo opportunities.
“Dracula is a timeless story that speaks to the mystery, allure, and danger at the heart of vampire lore,” said the founder of VAMPA, Edmondo Crimi. “Partnering with the Roxey Ballet allows us to bring that story to life in a breathtaking way. This production will be an unforgettable experience that fuses movement, atmosphere, and the enduring fascination with the world of the undead.”
The tours of the haunted house will take place at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 PM on Oct. 24, 25, 31 and Nov. 1.
Tickets are available for purchase, and it’s encouraged that visitors make a reservation ahead of time.
