Bucks County houses a variety of bed and breakfasts that make for great spots to enjoy the changing leaves, including several on the Delaware River.

There are several bed and breakfasts in the Bucks County area that make great spots for viewing the fall foliage, blending welcoming hospitality and cozy ambiance, writes Kaitlin Nasevich for Visit Bucks County.  

The 1740 House in Lumberville is a quaint inn five miles from New Hope. This spot offers 24 rooms with views of the Delaware River, which looks stunning during the fall.  

Upper Black Eddy’s Bridgeton House on the Delaware is another great place to check out. It’s a luxury bed and breakfast with views of the river and lots of fun activities nearby.  

Fox and the Hound Bed & Breakfast is a cozy retreat in New Hope. The town offers plenty of shops and restaurants to explore, many within walking distance. Enjoy tasty gourmet breakfasts and take a ride on the New Hope Railroad.  

Nestled on the Delaware River is River House at Odette’s. This New Hope hotel isn’t far from the bustling town’s Main Street. The Delaware Canal Towpath is the perfect spot for a bike ride or a leisurely stroll.  

Tucked away in New Hope, The Inn at Bowman’s Hill offers a luxurious B&B experience with nearby attractions like Washington Crossing Historic Park and gorgeous views from Bowman’s Hill Tower.
