Bucks Children’s Museum Partners with Doylestown Hospital for New Exhibit

The Bucks County Children's Museum is partnering with Penn Medicine Doylestown Health to launch a new exhibit this year.

The Bucks County Children’s Museum in New Hope will be partnering with Penn Medicine Doylestown Health to launch an interactive hospital exhibit in December, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

The exhibit will offer an engaging environment to teach children about health and wellness, aiming to demystify hospitals and instill the importance of health from an early age.

The hospital exhibit will have hands-on activities, such as a mini hospital setup where children get to role-play as doctors, nurses and patients. This will help them to better understand health topics, from anatomy and healthy habits to the importance of teamwork in the medical field.

“Penn Medicine Doylestown Health is proud to renew our support of this exciting experiential exhibit at the Bucks County Children’s Museum,” announced Penn Medicine Doylestown Health CEO Jim Brexler. “Partnerships like this one help our Della Penna Pediatric program extend our reach to thousands of children and parents in Bucks County.”

Parents will also have access to resources on child health and wellness, and the exhibit will include a special event allowing families to interact with Penn Medicine Doylestown Health professionals.
