The Middletown Grange Fair is returning to Wrightstown this week, with tons of fun attractions for the whole family, writes Ed Doyle for TAPinto Doylestown.
From Aug. 13 to 17, families will gather at 576 Penns Park Rd. to celebrate Bucks County’s agricultural traditions.
A variety of fun events will take place throughout the fair, including livestock demonstrations, pony rides, amusement rides, a thrill show and a canine stunt show.
There will also be hot dog pig races, during which dachshunds and pigs race around a track. Tractor games, slow-tractor races and tractor parades will also be featured.
Visitors can explore the many exhibits, displaying anything “grown, produced or made since the last fair,” the rules state.
Food trucks will be available on-site, with a variety of options to choose from, including a classic chicken dinner.
Admission is free; however, parking costs $20. A five-day pass is available for purchase for $50. Veterans with an ID can park for free. A portion of the parking fees will be given to the Bucks County Fraternal Order of Police and the Lingohocken Fire Company.
Costs for the amusement rides are dependent on the day and time, but passes are available for families with children.
