Check Out These Events and Attractions in Bucks County for Some Summer Fun 

Bucks County has a variety of fun events happening this summer that locals can check out.

Bucks County locals looking for something fun to do this summer can find an assortment of events and attractions in the area, writes Meghan O’Mara for Visit Bucks County. 

New Hope’s Summer Series Fireworks and Block Parties are taking place on July 11, Aug. 1 and Sept. 5 at 5 PM. This fun event features art displays, vendors, live music and beer gardens.  

From now to August 31, locals can stop by Peddler’s Village to check out the safari animal sandcastle display. Stroll through the sculptures before enjoying some shopping. 

The Middletown Grange Fair is happening from Aug. 13 to 17. After paying a parking fee, those interested can enjoy the farm animals, food vendors and the tractor pull. 

Music lovers can enjoy Northampton Township’s Concert Series on Thursdays at 7 PM until Aug. 14. Yardley hosts their own concert series at Buttonwood Park on Saturdays and Sundays through July 27. 

Those interested in some physical activity can visit Ringing Rocks Park in Upper Black Eddy. Explore the 100 acres of hiking trails and see the county’s biggest waterfall. 

For a more soothing outdoor activity, check out Peace Valley Lavender Farm in Doylestown for tours and to pick fresh lavender.  

The self-guided Covered Bridge Driving Tour is another great activity for those looking to explore the county while keeping cool with your car’s air conditioning.
