The Doylestown Arts Festival is returning for its 34th year, featuring art, musical performances and the Bucks County Classic bike race, writes Kai Lincke for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The festival is taking place on Sept. 6 and 7 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free.
Attendees can peruse work from over 160 independent artists, check out interactive demonstrations and participate in hands-on activities.
A variety of art mediums will be featured, including painting, jewelry, ceramics, photography, sculptures, drawings, wood, and more.
Musical groups will perform live throughout the event, ranging across various genres like jazz, folk, and pop.
A variety of food vendors will also be available in the Dommel Way parking lot. Beck’s Cajun Cruiser, Dharma Buns, Embers Smokehouse and Tap, and Chambers 19 Bistro will be at the food court.
Kids and adults can participate in pottery demonstrations, silk scarf painting, sand art, face painting and Mercer tile rubbings.
Biking enthusiasts can check out the Bucks County Classic, with the first race taking place at 9 AM on Sunday.
An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 people are anticipated to attend the festival and bike race, so it’s recommended that people arrive early to secure parking.
