Burlington Stores, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, is coming to The Shops at Valley Square, Route 611, in Warrington. This will be the department store company’s third Bucks County location, according to a staff report from the Bucks County Courier Times.
The national off-price retailer is well known for offering brand-name merchandise at consistently low prices. It also has established locations in Feasterville and Langhorne.
This newest site brings the total number of the company’s stores in Pennsylvania to 41.
The company started more than five decades ago as the Burlington Coat Factory in New Jersey. It quickly grew in popularity for selling marked-down coats out of a factory building.
Today, Burlington Stores, which is still headquartered on Route 130 in Burlington, operates more than 1,000 stores throughout the country.
