Redevelopment of Former Levittown School Could Bring 89 Residential Units

The former site of Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Levittown may soon be developed into 89 residential units.

The ten-acre former site of Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Levittown could soon be developed into 89 age-qualified residential units, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Bristol Township’s planning commission has already recommended approval of the developer’s plan for a combination of senior apartments and senior flats. Three months on, the project is still awaiting a final vote.

Mar Mar Homes, a local developer, is also planning to build a clubhouse and a pool at the future community in the Plumtree section of Levittown.

The Lincoln Elementary property is one of three former school sites Bristol Township sold to developers in recent years.

The former site of John Fitch Elementary School on Greenbrook Drive off Levittown Parkway is already under development. A 55-plus residential community is being built on the 17.5-acre site.

The DeLuca Homes project, known as the Villas at Greenbrook, will include a total of 180 housing units. Some units are already completed and occupied by their new owners.

The community will also feature a separate clubhouse, pool and associated parking for residents and guests.
