Doylestown Gears Up for 20th Annual Bucks County Classic Cycling Event 

Doylestown is set to host the 20th Anniversary of the Bucks County Classic on Sunday, September 8th, a pivotal event.

Doylestown is set to host the 20th Anniversary of the Bucks County Classic on Sunday, September 8th, a pivotal event in the local sports calendar that has grown significantly in scope, according to Endurance SportsWire.  

What began as a race for elite cyclists has now evolved into a full-day festival, featuring races for amateurs, community rides, and family-friendly activities. 

The 1.4-mile circuit through Doylestown’s business and residential areas will see a fierce competition, with races starting and finishing at the monument at Court and Main Street

The course, lined with sponsor and team tents, will offer spectators unparalleled access to the action.  

The event also coincides with the Doylestown Arts Festival, creating a bustling atmosphere with over 100 artist tents and live entertainment stages. 

Racing begins at 9:05 AM with amateur categories, setting the stage for the high-stakes Doylestown Health Pro Women’s Race and the Thompson Pro Men’s Race.
