The Wawa in New Hope at West Bridge Street and Sugan Road has reopened after substantial renovations, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
New Hope Wawa lovers can finally purchase their freshly brewed coffee, hot Sizzlis, and delicious made-to-order items after six weeks of waiting for the renovations to finish.
The old store’s interior was completely redesigned for customer convenience. This entailed adjusting the configuration of the store to increase efficiency. The store also added new technology and Wawa features to the newly improved layout.
In addition to this, the remodel added several self-checkout kiosks and increased the space around the cash registers. The store also consolidated refrigerated items to create more room.
Wawa revealed that remodels such as this cost the company around $1 million.
The Delaware County-based convenience store chain is famous for offering a wide selection of food options. With over 6,000 items available for purchase, every customer is sure to walk away satisfied.
