The Juice Pod, a cafe specializing in fresh, made-to-order juices and healthy bowls, is coming to Barn Plaza shopping center in Doylestown, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The new eatery will open beside Chipotle and First Watch in a new multi-tenant building that is currently under construction.
The franchise will be owned by two Bucks County residents who hope to open their new shop by fall.
“We’re super excited to come to this area and looking forward to meeting everyone in the community,” said Danielle Leonhardt, founder of The Juice Pod.
Leonhardt opened the first Juice Pod location in Avalon, New Jersey, nine years ago. She has now grown the company to more than 20 cafes across the East Coast.
The cafe will offer a varied selection of fresh juices, smoothies, bowls, salads, toasts, wraps, soups, coffee, and tea. Customer favorites include Avalon Green Juice, made with kale, red apple, cucumber, and lemon.
Green Envy Juice, made with kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, romaine, lemon, and ginger; and the Peanutty Acai Bowl, made with peanut butter, strawberries, bananas, and almond milk, are also fan favorites.
